Our salon was founded by Courtney Tadema and Keelee Cody in 2019. Keelee enjoyed being behind the chair for over 20 years, but decided to take a step back and prioritize her family. Although she isn’t in the salon anymore, she is still a part of the Salon Birch team. This talented group of women have spent years working together to build a strong foundation as a team. They are specialists in a variety of hair color and cutting techniques, including barbering, special occasion hair, organic color and advanced curly hair stylists.
Courtney tadema
Courtney began her career over 20 years ago, and has been a salon owner for the last 10 years. She loves providing precise blonding services and enjoys staying current with the latest trends in the specialty. She is currently not accepting new clients, as her books are full.
jen ko banning
Jen’s passion for hair radiates as she connects with her clients, whom she truly loves spending time with. As a stylist in the Vancouver area for 17 years, she has worked to create amazing works of hair art with speed and efficiency. Jen frequently participates in continued education classes with her fellow stylists to stay up-to-date on the latest practices and styles. She is currently taking new clients by referral only.
erin boyle
Erin began her journey as a curly hair specialist 14 years ago in the San Francisco Bay area. She enjoys the creativity of working with curly hair and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with you. Erin works with O&M Organic hair color and is also trained in specific techniques for coloring curly hair.
Grace Witcher
After graduating cosmetology school in 2017, Grace began her training to become certified in curly haircutting. She has been to classes across the country and enjoys taking continuing education classes. Clean beauty is very important to Grace, so she uses O&M Organic hair color. Growing up mixed in the PNW, she understands the struggle to understand your hair and hopes to educate during each appointment. 
Beth Mounce
As a graduate of Aveda Institute Portland 13 years ago, Beth has enjoyed many salon experiences allowing her to become as creative as they come. Her flexibility and artistic nature allow for her to work with hair of all types and an eye for detail make her a pro with blondes, brunettes, red heads and everyone in between.

Amy strives to listen to her clients so she can create an atmosphere where they feel comfortable and are thrilled with their hair when she is finished. She loves to cut men’s, women’s, and children’s hair and genuinely cares about her client’s satisfaction with their experience in her chair. She has also completed the Rezo Cut certification and loves working with natural curls.
Katie Dickerson
Katie has been a hairstylist for 22 years. She prioritizes her continued education to ensure that she is giving clients the most stylish and practical hairstyles for everyday life. Building trust and long lasting connections with her clients is something that she takes to heart. You can be sure that once you leave her chair, Katie will have made you feel and look amazing. 
jana fugere
Jana has been doing hair since 1988. She is passionate about giving clients customized haircuts whether it's a sleek polished bob, or an edgy shag cut. She has taken extensive barbering and hair cutting courses. Color and blonding services are another love of Janas and has even completed the Masters of Balayage course. You can be sure that no matter your hair desires, Jana will deliver.
