This talented group of women have spent the past eight+ years working together and building a strong foundation as the stylists of Urban Retreat Salon Spa. They are specialists in a variety of hair color and cutting techniques, including barbering, special occasion hair and makeup, organic color and advanced Curly Hair Stylists.
Keelee Cody: Owner & Advanced Curly Stylist
Keelee has enjoyed working with curly hair clients for the past 20+ years and enjoys teaching her clients how to embrace their natural curl! She works closely with Innersense Organic Beauty products and Aveda color, knowing that the best products bring out the best in your hair!
Courtney Tadema: Owner & Sylist
Courtney began her career 20 years ago as well. A passion for blondes, Courtney keeps up to date on all of the coloring latest trends with frequent continuous education, and also works with VOMOR hair extensions.Salon Birch is Courtney and Keelee’s “Chapter 2” and are excited to share it with you!
Jen Ko Banning: Stylist
Jen’s passion for hair radiates as she connects with her clients, whom she truly loves spending time with. As a stylist for 16 years, she has worked to create amazing works of hair art with speed and efficiency.
Jen frequently participates in continued education classes with her fellow stylists to stay up-to date on techniques for women’s hair as well as children’s cuts, and special event styles!

Erin Boyle: Advanced Curly Stylist
Erin began her journey as a curly hair specialist 14 years ago in the San Francisco area. She enjoys the challenge and creativity of working with curly hair and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with you! Erin works with an Organic color line and and is also trained in specific techniques for coloring curly hair.
Beth Mounce, Stylist
As a graduate of Aveda Institute Portland 10 years ago, Beth has enjoyed many salon experiences allowing her to become as creative as they come! Her flexibility and artistic nature allow for her to work with hair of all types and an eye for detail make her a pro with blondes, brunettes, red heads and everyone in between!

Amy Metscher: Stylist
Amy is the newest addition to the Birch team, but she has been incredibly passionate about hair for as long as she can remember! She loves to cut men’s, women’s, and children’s hair and genuinely cares about her client’s satisfaction with their experience in her chair.
Amy strives to listen to her clients so she can create an atmosphere where they feel comfortable and are thrilled with their hair when she is done.

Grace Witcher: Advanced Curly Stylist
Grace has been a curly hair specialist for the past 7 years, working with the same Organic color line as Erin! As a curly girl herself, Grace gets excited to teach her clients how to embrace and love their natural curl. She is a bit of a perfectionist, and works tirelessly to provide her clients with a phenomenal experience and the style they desire!
